1797 Angusshire, Dundee; James Wright Jr’s Copper Farthing. Struck as the die had begun to fail causing significant flaws to the reverse as well as some softening of the obverse legends. Otherwise, even brown with reflective fields, very attractive.

Rarity – Common but a rather scarce die state

UK Grade – Good extremely fine

US Grade – Choice uncirculated (Carefully removed from an MS64 slab)
