1797 Angusshire, Dundee; Alexander Swap & Co. James Wright Jr’s Copper Halfpenny. This variety, a late addition to the Dalton & Hamer finding it’s way into the original addenda section on p.547. Struck from a later die with cud forming between 1 and 2 o’clock. Some contacts marks to the fields and faint hairlines otherwise an even brown.
