1791 Warwickshire, Birmingham; Skidmore’s copper farthing D&H 478. A struck planchet, then die rotated about 45 degrees, then struck again. Wonderful and one that must be appreciated being examined close-up. A lovely accident with no actual traces of circulation. About extremely fine and as struck, rare.
