18th Century Provincial Tokens, Hampshire

Petersfield, Peter Kempson, D&H 50, halfpenny mule in copper. 11.04g. Obverse struck from heavily rusted dies as usual with the Yeoman by this point almost skeletal in appearance. The Blofield reverse with typical die cud on the rim. Golden brown surfaces throughout, retaining almost full original colour. Listed as scarce but truthfully very seldom found, especially in this condition. About as struck.
