Middlesex, Little Turnstile, Thomas Spence; DH 695, halfpenny struck in copper, 10.27g , 29.98mm. The first of our Spence advertising obverse issues. Struck on a broad planchet, out of collar, with strong details, original colour and reflective fields. Good extremely fine

Lord George Gordon (26 December 1751 – 1 November 1793), British politician gave his
name to the Gordon Riots of 1780. Sat in the House of Commons from 1774 to 1780. He
converted to Judaism. He died in Newgate Prison..
