Anglesey, Amlwch, Parys Mines Company; DH 4, Hancock’s pattern D penny struck in copper, 28.4g , 34.44mm. A handsome early penny, struck on a broad planchet and out of collar. Some scattered handling in the fields and some small surface cuds, otherwise sharp with typically glossy surfaces. Extremely fine . Rare.
