Inferior Tokens of the 18^th Century, Evasions

William Mighell, Silver-sandwich halfpenny, 6.49g; Cobwright P0035 / B0150 and Sussex D&H 10. Dies as previous but a curious variety with what would appear to be a silver issue, likely with a copper centre. The edge is a strong indicator. This practice often used to mislead from solid silver, commonly used in the 18^th century and later, but not known in this variety. Presumably, extremely rare. About fine.
