Bank of England; 1804 five shillings silver dollar, 26.59g / 41mm. Emergency issue, overstruck on a Spanish 8 reales with under-type clearly visible around the legends. Countermark to the left of bust as well as “M” under Britannia’s wreath. Evenly toned, good fine.
