18^th Century Provincial Tokens, Middlesex

Not Local, Issuer uncertain; D&H 1048, Tom Tackle halfpenny struck in copper, 6.77g. There are no known early die state examples of this variety. The unique Bobbe uniface varieties of D&H 1048bis and D&H 1048bis II are the only known fully struck specimens* in extant. Couple of light blemishes in the reverse field otherwise bold example overall with hints of red in the devices. Good very fine.
