18th Century Provincial Tokens of Scotland, Lothian
Lothian, Edinburgh, Thomas & Alexander Hutchinson; DH 38, imitation halfpenny struck in copper, 10.51g , 29.04mm. Standard obverse die break with die polishing evident in the fields, somewhat typical for issue. Otherwise, a handsome example with original colour and only the lightest handling. Extremely fine . Rare.
