18^th Century Provincial Tokens, Middlesex

London, Charles James; D&H 344, halfpenny struck in copper, 12.35g. A superb example, very sharp and virtually fully struck up. Superior to our own example sold in Auction I for £460 and would appear at least equal, most likely superior to the Heritage auction example sold in March 2023 for $1800 (pre BP). Chestnut brown with iridescent reflective fields and original colour – problem-free. Scarce, especially in this condition.  Good extremely fine or better.
