18^th Century Provincial Tokens, Middlesex

London, Soho,  Robert Orchard; D&H 399bis, uniface gilt-copper halfpenny, 8.87g, with plain edge. Described by Cokayne as a proof of the obverse die, retaining virtually full original colour. Extremely fine but essentially as made. Of the highest rarity, this the only example in existence – unique.
