18th Century Provincial Tokens of England, Middlesex
Middlesex, Bishopsgate, Meymott & Son; D&H 382, halfpenny mule struck in copper. Prattent’s reverse die which we saw all the way back in lot 1 with Cork 1 and continued with Cork 15 and 18. Struck from a terminal obverse die state. Wonderfully flawed retaining much original colour. Extremely fine but essentially as made. Rare.
