Warwickshire, Coventry Buildings Series, Peter Kempson; D&H 282a, halfpenny struck in copper. Next, as a compliment to our special lots previously, we have a run of mostly copper varieties with varying degrees of redness. This first piece with stunning eye appeal. Some very minor spotting but with beautifully preserved original patina and fiery red devices. Essentially as made (Gem). Scarce.
