Middlesex, Bishopsgate, Meymott & Son; D&H 383, halfpenny struck in copper. Obverse die as previous but in an earlier state. Reverse already seen across our Dublin, Munster and Cambridge lots. Brown’s wallet interestingly reads ” good illustration of the Blakesley Effect, with rim voids opposite cuds”. Mostly as made, extremely fine. Scarce.
