Warwickshire, Birmingham, Peter Kempson; D&H 61, halfpenny mule struck in copper. Kempson mule variety, from a widely used reverse die – see the Norfolk 7 in this sale. Attractive example with flashy lustre and proof-like surfaces. Good extremely fine. Scarce.
