Anglesey, Amlwch, John Westwood; D&H 250, Westwood’s 1789 Pattern penny struck in copper. One of the cataloguer’s favourite varieties. Very distinctive engraving of exceptional workmanship. Evenly patinated, just the one spot to the back of the cowl. Otherwise, good extremely fine and currently housed in an NGC 63BN holder. Very rare.
