County Clare, Cork & Kerry, Munster, Thomas Prattent; D&H 15, halfpenny mule struck in copper. A first appearance of the French Liberty reverse which appears an amazing six times in this auction. Broadly struck, sharp strike with deep mahogany brown surfaces. Whilst the edges of these are all out of collar and often flawed, there is no post-strike issues. Nearly mint state. Rare.
